- “People think of Windows as free because when they need a copy, they can get it from a guy they know. ”
- “They already had a free operating system, so they weren’t impressed by switching to something else that was free. ”
- “They are indifferent to the crime because the ease and pervasiveness of sharing software has obscured the value of the items they’re giving away. They assure themselves they aren’t really doing anything wrong because, after all, if the woman dancer wasn’t offered a free copy, then she simply would never use it. ”
Kết luận là việc sao chép bất hợp pháp phần mềm của Microsoft là nguyên nhân dẫn đến Linux chưa được phổ biến rộng rãi.
